flip_to_front1997 - ISGR Established
ISGR was established to help the Gothenburg Region be an attractive choice for international families, enabling companies to benefit from foreign expertise. By offering the IB programmes at a high level, international families can be assured continuity in their child's education.
2000 - IB World School
In 2000, ISGR became an official IB World School. The International Baccalaureate® (IB) offers a continuum ofinternational education. The programmes encourage both personal and academic achievement, challenging students to excel in their studies and in their personal development. Every school authorized to offer IB programmes is known as an IB World School.
2008 - CIS Accreditation
ISGR is proud to be a member of the The Council of International Schools (CIS). CIS is an organization and community committed to high quality international education. The CIS community includes more than 1300institutions - 736 schools and 618 colleges and universities representing 116 countries.
2019 - A Growing School
Today, ISGR is a growing community with over 1200 students representing 65 countries from around the world. We offer two sections with two curriculum frameworks, the IB section and the Swedish National section. Together we strive to build a strong community that places priority on exploration and embracing diversity.
