Welcome to ISGR – The International School of the Gothenburg Region

The International School of the Gothenburg Region (ISGR) is a place where people from around the world come together to learn, grow, and connect. With students and staff from over 45 countries, we are proud to be a truly international school community.

ISGR offers two educational tracks:

  • In our International Section, students follow the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP), taught in English.
  • In our Swedish National Section, students follow the Swedish national curriculum (LGRP and LGRM), with up to 50% of instruction in English.

Although the two sections follow different programmes, we share the same values and work closely together as one school. We believe that our diversity strengthens us, and that learning is richer when we explore the world through different perspectives.

Our Vision

Our vision for ISGR is to be a leading international educator with a community of passionate life-long learners, inspiring global citizens to embrace diversity and explore the World.

Our Mission

ISGR is an international school with students aged from 5 to 16, which fosters a culture of learning with respect and open mindedness. Based on IB world or Swedish national standards, we tailor our curriculum to provide students with the tools to be life-long learners in a stimulating and nurturing environment.
