The International School of the Gothenburg Region (ISGR) continues to deliver excellent academic results. According to the latest data from the Swedish National Agency for Education (Skolverket) on final grades for Year 9 students, ISGR ranks third in Gothenburg and an impressive 66th out of 1,581 schools in Sweden that reported their results.
These results reflect ISGR’s strong commitment to academic excellence and personal growth. At the heart of this success is the dedication and expertise of ISGR’s teaching staff, who work every day to create meaningful learning experiences, challenge students to think critically, and provide the support each student needs to reach their full potential.
– I am incredibly proud of our students, who have shown curiosity, perseverance, and a real passion for learning. But above all, I am deeply grateful to our teachers. Their commitment, creativity, and ability to inspire make this level of achievement possible. They are the driving force behind our students’ success, Corinna Ljungberg, Principal Swedish section grades 7-9, ISGR.
Reaching such a high position in a national comparison is a clear indicator that ISGR’s mission – to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in a global society – is reflected in real, measurable outcomes.
– These results are the outcome of strong collaboration across the entire school, and our teachers are at the very heart of it. Their high expectations, professional expertise, and continuous focus on student well-being and learning are what enable us to deliver world-class education year after year, says Annika Simonsson Bergqvist, CEO and Head of School.
We are very proud of our students and their achievements – and deeply grateful for the dedication, passion, and professionalism of our teachers, whose everyday efforts make this success possible.
