ISGR is an IB (International Baccalaureate) World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP).

ISGR also has a Swedish section offering the Swedish national programme, years 0-9.

We are in the process of developing our new website,

Our ISGR profile with web page and logo are being updated. We will launch our new graphic profile and web page during the spring of 2025. Along with a new website, very soon you will be able to order new student designed hoodies with the new school logo.

 

ISGR expands with a new building!

We are expanding our campus at Guldheden.

We are excited to share that we are expanding our school at Guldheden campus with an additional 4000m2, welcoming students in August 2025. It will provide state of the art facilities such as 15 new classrooms, a dining hall, music rooms and a PE hall. We are looking forward to all the new possibilities this will bring and to celebrate with a grand opening.

1997 - ISGR Established

ISGR was established to help the Gothenburg Region be an attractive choice for international families, enabling companies to benefit from foreign expertise. By offering the IB programmes at a high level, international families can be assured continuity in their child's education.

2000 - IB World School

In 2000, ISGR became an official IB World School. The International Baccalaureate® (IB) offers a continuum ofinternational education. The programmes encourage both personal and academic achievement, challenging students to excel in their studies and in their personal development. Every school authorized to offer IB programmes is known as an IB World School.

2008 - CIS Accreditation

ISGR is proud to be a member of the The Council of International Schools (CIS). CIS is an organization and community committed to high quality international education. The CIS community includes more than 1300institutions - 736 schools and 618 colleges and universities representing 116 countries.

2022 - A Growing School

Today, ISGR is a growing community with over 1200 students representing 65 countries from around the world. We offer two sections with two curriculum frameworks, the IB section and the Swedish section. Together we strive to build a strong community that places priority on exploration and embracing diversity.
