International School of the Gothenburg Region

ISGR is an international school with students aged from 5 to 16, which fosters a culture of learning with respect and open mindedness. Based on IB world or Swedish national standards, we tailor our curriculum to provide students with the tools to be life-long learners in a stimulating and nurturing environment.

We value authentic learning experiences with a global perspective.

Interested in learning more about an International education for your child?

The International School of the Gothenburg Region (ISGR) is having an open house event for all international families currently living in the area, December 8th 17:00-18:00 at ISGR, Guldhedsgatan 6.

It is well known that ISGR takes care of incoming professionals to work in Gothenburg and the surrounding area, but do you know that we also accept applications from international families already living here?

In the international section of ISGR we teach an alternative to the Swedish national curriculum, the International Baccalaureate (IB). Students of the IB primary and middle years programmes have gone on to study at renowned universities around the world. At a time when global exchange and possibilities become ever more significant it is important to consider high quality educational opportunities on offer right here in the heart of Gothenburg.
